Accuracy

Every fact on this site links to its source. We refresh source documents on the cadence described in our methodology. Despite our best efforts, source documents may be stale or incorrect. If you spot an error, email hello@schoolsnearme.co.nz with the URL and the corrected source.

No re-publication of derived data

Our scores, tags, ERO trajectory diffs, financial trend lines, and aggregated indexes are derived works. You may not scrape, copy or republish them without a paid licence. Source documents themselves remain available from their original publishers (ERO, MoE, NZ Gazette).

API access

Our free public API is rate-limited and intended for non-commercial use, AI search engines and academic research. Commercial use requires a paid plan — see data partners.

Defamation

We never publish person-level negative characterisations. Statutory-manager and Commissioner appointments are reported only when published in the NZ Gazette and only at the school level. If you believe a fact on our site about you is defamatory, contact us at hello@schoolsnearme.co.nz.
