Schools Near Me publishes a page for every school in New Zealand using public data — Education Counts, ERO, audited annuals and the NZ Gazette. The page is live whether you claim it or not. Claiming gives you:

  • Add open days, scholarships and enrolment form URL
  • Add a school description in your own words (subject to factual review)
  • Reply to parent reviews (public reply, attributed to your role)
  • See monthly enquiry counts: emails, phone clicks and enrolment-form opens we referred
  • Correct any factual errors with a one-click flag (we re-verify against the source)

Our principles

  • We never publish a fact without a source. Every score is reproducible.
  • We never characterise individuals. Statutory-manager status is reported at the school level only, from the NZ Gazette.
  • Claimed schools cannot edit ERO scores, financial data or government-published facts. They can only add their own self-published content.
